Hmmm......Pictures.......

I recently read over a friend's blog today and she had a bunch of pics on there. Rachel, if you're reading this, love the pics of your dog! But anyway, it really got me in the mood to post some pics of my own.....too bad I'm so lazy.....:)
But over the weekend, my goal is to post up some pics......when I'm not studying for a geometry exam, reviewing for my Chinese class on Sunday, Doing my art homework for my class Saturdy, or finishing up my 3-page packet for Science that is.
But guess what peoples, I'm on the yearbook staff for my school! Which involved lots of writing, taking pictures, making layouts, completing the actual layout, and deadlines. I'm proud to say that so far, my partner and I have been pretty okay-ish with our deadlines, in fact, we just finished a divider page for today! XD!!!!!!!
But what's really funny is the fact that my partner and I have to constantly go into this one class to take pictures of people and interview them! I'm starting to think the teacher's getting a little annoyed at us.....especially when we crashed their food day and took pics while pigging out! XP ha ha! *Sigh* but what can you do? Duty calls!

Well, I'm willing to bet all the Hershey bars in my house that most people out there who might happen to be reading this right now, are going to be celebrating Thanksgiving this Thursday!
And if you're not, sucks for you because I don't have any Hershey bars in my house!!!
But that note aside, my parents are hosting this party where a whole bunch of people from all along the east coast...? No wait I guess I shouldn't say that, It's more like just people from Pennsylvania and Maryland are coming over! But nonetheless, my house is still going to be pretty crowded. My mom, the 'perfectionist' is already turning the house eerily neat. Which in some cases, just involve shoving stuff into boxes and then piling them into the basement. Which is one of the reasons why I can't find my pair of UGGS. Which just kinda sucks because as you have noticed, the weather is getting cold! Feet can freeze you know!
So for the people out there who know where your warm shoes are, be lucky and smart and actually wear them before your feet freeze. Believe me....it's not very pleasant...although I've never experienced that, I'm smart enough to know that it is not pleasant!

Nothing's going right! :( EMERGENCY

Wednesday November 19, 2008

Brrrr........
Yes that covers everything quite well i think. Tempertatures write now have reached 31 degreese Fahrenheit! And it's only NOVEMBER!!!! It's not supposed to get this cold until December for crying out loud! And it really doesn't help the fact that teachers (mainly my geometry teacher) doesn't believe in the concept of no homework over breaks!!! I have an exam coming up just before Christmas! How unfair is that! And to top all these unpleasantries of, I have a new pimple!!! X(

A girl only has 3 major stresses
1) A teacher calling on you and you have no clue what's been going on becasue the class is so boring
2) Do something majorly embarrassing and have everyone laugh at you
3) Get pimples
And not to mention the fact that the last one is also a factor of stress! *Sigh* I really need the weekend to come. But then, I'd just have to face art classes and chinese school. How is that fair?
And do you know what else is a major bummer? English class!
I used to love English classes because i love writing (hence this blog!) but now, my 8th grade class just sucks. There's really no other way of describing it. It's just so...so...suckish. Yes, suckish, now that's a cool word.
In fact, it's almost as cool as shiatzu barbies. That's a phrase my friend Zoe and I came up with one day while playing mad libs.
But like I said, English class is suckish. All we do is read suspense stories, take tests that last 3 hours, and do grammar. UGH!
And now, thanks to this ahn-noying writer's block I'm having, I can't come up with a single good story idea to write! This is soooooo frustrating! My goal right now is to write a totally amazing curl-up-with-a-good-cup-of-hot-chocolate kind of romance story which I can hopefully actually curl up with a good cup of hot chocolate and read during winter break...and post on my blog!
After recently watching The Notebook, I am just dying to write a novel just as good. So far, the couple names I've narrowed down for my main couple is between
1) Arabella and Cam
2) Natalie and Aiden
3) Ambrosia and Christian
4)Sophie and Owen
5) Lily and James
So please, if you're reading this blog right now, help by voting on which pair you like best and even suggesting ones that you like. Please, I'm desperate!!! Oh, and it'd also really help if you could help think of some main ideas for the plot. I have no ideda where this is going to take place.
1800 London?
Present day American school?
Revolutionary war?
Forsaken island in the middle of the ocean?!
Christmas in Paris?
Summer in the Caribbean?
3025:Life on the Moon. Ooooooooooooh
Aliens come to Earth?
Okay, now it's safe to say I'm out of ideas because I'm just naming them of the top of my head. But if you help me by posting, keep in mind that no one will probably want to read about two unrequited lovers in the form of cells in vanilla pudding...just saying...

Election History

November 5, 2008

Well, it's official..... our new president of the USA has broken the record by becoming the first African-American president this nation has ever seen. Personally I'm an Obama fan because I really think that he has fresh ideas and can change this nation for the better, but I can't really help but feel sorry for McCain. In civics today, we watched McCain's speech from last night, when the election results were announced. It was pretty sad when in the middle of his speech, people started boo-ing. I mean come on people! The guy's already lost the election, no need to rub it in his face!

You know, 50 years later in 2058, I can probably tell my grandchildren that this was the most esciting election of my life! I mean, either way, if McCain won, he'd be the oldest president ever elected, and Obama would be--i mean is--the first African-American president in history. Either way, a record's bound to be broken. I'm pubilshing this post so in 2058, if I still remember this blog, I can read about my views now, in 2008.

In a way, this election is probably the most intense election in history. I Hillary Clinton won the vote to be the Democratic candidate against Obama, and then later won against McCain, she'd be the first WOMAN president in the USA!!! But what if McCain won? Id he died if an illness while in office, America would be in the hands of SARA PALIN! Another possibility of a female president! Now no offense McCain/Palin supporters, and its not that I'm opposed to a woman president or anything, but I just don't think Palin is the 'best choice.' I mean have you guys been reading the news? She spent like $25,000 dollars on CLOTHES!!! What does that tell you?!

And also, what about Biden, Obama's running mate? We hear all these things about Palin and we hear about people' s panic if she were to become president should anything happen to McCain, but how come no one's worried about Biden? Something could happen to Obama and just as easily, Biden could become president. Why isn't anyone worried about that? Is it just because Palin's a female? If so, people who think like that is just sexist.

This is the start of a new era in the U.S. history. As Obama promised, it would be an era of change. He would make things different and improve the economical crises that threatens to throw us into another Great Depression. Can he? Will he keep his promise? This era has just begun...for better? For worse? No one knows right now. "If there is anyone out there who still doubts that America is a place where all things are possible; Who still wonders that the dream of our founders is still alive in our time; Who still questions the power of our Democracy; Tonight is your answer." That was Obama said when he found out that he was the 44th president. He promised things will change. After all, he is the first African-American president.... things will be different. At least I hope so.
